A friend gave me a bottle and after that first glass I was hooked. That's the best wine I've ever had. My husband helped me call every liquor store in San Antonio and no one had it but one did carry it I left my number and to call me as soon as they would get some in I'll pick it up. No luck yet they haven't called. I'm just glad I can order from you guys. Love it!!

I love this product. I came to experience it while living in Mo and it fast became my favorite wine. When I moved to Iowa so far I have found that their local wines cannot match up. I'm not a big fan of most wines but I love Velvet Red. It is better tan most brands of sweet wines I can buy here.

I had ST Jame's Red Velvet, 8 years ago at a friend's house. It was an unforgettable wine. Shipping costs were so high that I would not order it. When a free shipping day offer came, I jumped on it. Such a pleasure to drink... alone, with appetizers and great for after dinner with dessert. I only wish I had ordered twice the quantity with the free shipping offer. Will definitely order 2 cases next time.

I moved 8 months ago to the East Coast and could no long find the wine I like the best, which is Red Velvet. I like a sweet wine and this one suits me to a tee! I discovered this wine when I lived in Missouri. Fast forward to living in Kentucky and Pennsylvania, I always stock up on this wine when I'm in Kentucky, but since it's not sold in PA, I have it shipped to my family in DC. While traveling through Missouri several years ago we stopped by Saint James Winery to sample their wines and fell in love with the Red Velvet. It is probably considered a dessert wine since it is sweet, and my wife who is not a wine drinker enjoys it with Italian food. Since we no longer travel long distances, we have Saint James ship it to our home, and we continue to savor our Red Velvet.

A friend from Missouri brought this wine down and I was hooked. Since then I have tried a variety of other wines from St. James. But Velvet Red is still by far my favorite. Because St James does not ship to MS, I have had my local liquor store on the hunt for similar tasting wines. He has found some that were good and somewhat similar, but can't compare to St. James' Velvet Red.

Havent had a chance to try all the bottles I ordered but, they are the ones I tasted at St James while we were in Mo visiting. I kept the names of the ones I liked. I previously had been getting my wines from a NYS winery but, because of shipping costs, had to find another place to order from. I have to admit I like St James wines better (if you like sweet wines)! Will definitely order from St James again!! Keep up the the great work!!!

I live in Sonoma County, right next to Napa County and Napa Valley and both counties are very proud of all their wines (hundreds upon hundreds of vineyards, literally). I have tasted several of their wines and I have never found even one that comes close to the Velvet Red wine I jokingly say I "import" from the Midwest's St. James Winery.
