Perfect Sweet-tart
From Vicki Moffitt of King George, Virginia on .
St. James's winery's Blackberry/Blueberry wine is the perfect blend of the sweet and tart flavors of two of our favorite fruits. Chilled or at room temperature it is refreshing and sure to please.
Great

Great flavor, you can really taste both the blueberry and blackberry. Our first bottle was in Eureka Spring, AR., someone gave us a bottle and we loved it. It is a fruity wine so be aware of its sweetness.

I was at a party and one of the guests knew I liked sweet wine and suggested I try this one. I had to order some and DID! Love it! I agree it is a bit too sweet, but I either add dry white wine or club soda. It is DELICIOUS! I will be back to buy more.

So I ordered a bottle of this ( Blackberry Blueberry Wine) for a trip with my mother. We were so excited to open this and try it because it sounded amazing and how much we love the Velvet Red 💜💜💜!! We poured ourselves glasses and sat down to enjoy it. Only to both be overcome with sweetness. We literally added 50% water to the glasses and it made it better but we ended up dumping the glasses down the drain due to the sweetness. I actually needed a soda chaser if you can believe that. I called this morning to express my concern that maybe it was a bad batch. I was assured that it was not a bad batch and that all the fruit wine is that sweet. Wow! It was also suggested to use it as a mixer for hard liquor. I will try it, but just beware... 😞

Perfect blend of blackberry and blueberry. So good!

I ordered this for my daughter in Minnesota. Unfortunately they can't get St. James wine there and she misses it. She graduated with her Doctorate in COVID-19 and I felt needed a special treat to celebrate. I also love adding this to a table red with blackberry brandy and fruit to make sangria. No brown sugar needed when you add this bottle!
